The students’ union has a mission to empower students and build community on TMU’s campus by advocating for their rights, supporting student groups, events and initiatives. Over the course of the year, TMSU hosts fun social events like game nights, concerts, pub nights, and frosh, a quintessential event for incoming college and university students. The website serves as an opportunity for students to familiarize themselves with upcoming campus events and join the undergraduate community.

We focused on elevating the student union by implementing unique fonts and colour patterns throughout their websites. Furthermore, we developed a universal template to ensure consistent layout designs when building these websites. This strategic choice aimed to establish brand recognition while maintaining credibility and reliability for Toronto Metropolitan University's various centres.

The Good Food Centre

 

The Good Food Centre (GFC), operated by the Toronto Metropolitan Students' Union (TMSU), serves as the campus food bank at Toronto Metropolitan University. Beyond providing free and healthy food to needy students, the GFC actively engages in advocacy work related to poverty, nutrition, and sustainability. They organize events, workshops, and campaigns, collaborating with other student-based groups and community organizations.

THE Safe
sex centre

 

The Centre for Safer Sex and Sexual Violence Support (C3SVS) at Toronto Metropolitan University is a crucial resource for students. They provide services such as a Sexual Assault Survivor Support Help Line, distribute safer sex products and menstrual supplies, and offer a comprehensive resource hub with information on sexual violence support.

The goal for these websites was to enhance the browsing experience while integrating branding elements that align with the university and its centers. Our objective was to bring their brand to life with a modernized look and feel. We achieved this by introducing fonts, icons, and colors that symbolize strength and guidance.
